Voluntary Recall: Joolz Aer2 Car Seat Adapters

The safety of your family is our highest priority. In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada, Joolz has issued a voluntary recall of the Joolz Aer2 Car Seat Adapters.

What is the issue?

We have determined that, in certain circumstances, the recalled Joolz Aer2 Car Seat Adapters can fail to properly attach to the stroller. If an adapter does not properly attach, the car seat can fall, posing a risk of serious injury from a fall hazard.

This recall involves only the Joolz Aer2 Car Seat Adapters. The Joolz Aer2 stroller itself is not affected by this recall and can continue to be used safely without the car seat adapters.

What you should do

1.    Stop using the Joolz Aer2 Car Seat Adapters immediately and detach them from the stroller.

2.    Register for a full refund at joolzcarseatadapter.expertinquiry.com

3.    Return the recalled adapter set using the prepaid shipping label provided. Once received, your full refund will be reimbursed via electronic payment or a virtual prepaid gift card you can use anywhere.

You can safely continue using your Joolz Aer2 stroller without the car seat adapters.

At Joolz, the safety of children and the trust of parents are at the heart of everything we do. During our continuous quality monitoring, we have identified a potential issue affecting a specific batch of Joolz Hub2 strollers.

What you need to know

In rare cases, the front wheels of the stroller may detach from the chassis during use. The affected strollers are limited to a specific batch (serial numbers HUB2CH-016488 to HUB2CH-016687). If your stroller is not within this serial number range, no action is required.

What you should do

1. Check the serial number of your Hub2 stroller. The serial number can be found on the right rear leg, on the inside:

All Joolz strollers are designed and tested according to the highest international safety standards (EN1888-1&2, EN1466, EN1130). This issue did not appear during certification testing or early use. Out of caution and commitment to parents, we are taking this proactive step.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Your child’s safety and your peace of mind are always our top priority.
