Bodine & Jocelyn
For their honeymoon, Bodine (29) and Jocelyn (29) spent three months touring through Europe in their camper ‘Freddy’. They've been together for four years now and are expecting a daughter in July.
“Jocelyn and I are total opposites, which I love,” says Bodine. “I’m spiritual, emotional, and love designing and styling things. I can’t think of anything better than creating something from scratch and making it your own. I designed our wedding dresses, decorated our entire house, and styled the nursery. Now I’m designing our birth card and during the day I teach yoga.”
“I’m more rational and practical,” says Jocelyn. “I manage a team at an employment agency and I'd describe myself as a go-getter. Bodine is good at talking about her feelings; I find that a bit harder. But that's why we work so well together. I also love cooking and going to festivals,” she adds. “And I love to stand there and chat while she cooks,” Bodine says with a laugh.

Bodine is 28 weeks pregnant with their first child. “I love being pregnant. I was worried I’d get really fat and complain the whole time, but so far I’ve been pretty easy-going,” she says. “I think I might like you even more now than before you were pregnant,” Jocelyn quips. “We both really wanted to have kids. I see her body change and her change along with it which I think is easier to understand as a woman.”
“We talked a lot about how we wanted to get pregnant. We ultimately decided on an anonymous donor. You go to the hospital for a series of psychological tests and screenings.” Bodine adds: “We'd love to have three children from the same father. Our donor is from Denmark. He's a real family man and has similar beliefs as us. When our daughter is sixteen she can get in touch with him if she wants to.”
“At the moment we're busy buying the last few things for the baby,” Bodine continues. “We decided on a Joolz stroller. I love that you can add your own touch to it. “With the exception of our camper,” adds Bodine, laughing. “But it’s still better to drive an old car than to buy a new one. We nicknamed our camper Freddy and we’ve had so many adventures with him. We spent three incredible months travelling through Europe on our honeymoon. Freddy gives us a sense of freedom and familiarity; he’s like a second home. As soon as you step inside, you instantly get that vacation vibe. We plan on travelling a lot after the baby arrives. We’ll just pack up our stroller and go camping somewhere in the Netherlands or abroad. The stroller folds up in a flash, which we love. It makes is easy to take with you wherever you go.”
Jocelyn: “We can’t wait for our daughter to arrive, but we also wonder what our life will look like with a baby. Being mobile and flexible is important to us. Thankfully, this stroller fits the bill perfectly. We want to keep doing everything we do now. I can see us going to a family festival with friends, soaking up the sun with our daughter in the stroller and a beer in our hands. I can’t wait!”
