Joolz Recall Notice – Joolz Aer2 Car Seat Adapter Set

At Joolz, the safety and wellbeing of children and parents is our highest priority. As part of this commitment, Joolz decided to recall all Joolz Aer2 Car Seat Adapter Sets. The Joolz Aer2 Car Seat Adapter Set starts with product identification number NL311- (as is shown on the picture below). These were sold between June 2025 and May 2026.

Reason for the recall 

The Joolz Aer2 Car Seat Adapter Set may fail to properly engage and lock with the spring-loaded pin on the Joolz Aer2 stroller. This may create a safety risk, as the Car Seat Adapter can detach from the stroller during use, which may allow the car seat to tip forward and fall to the ground.

What we ask you to do:

- Immediately stop using the Joolz Aer2 Car Seat Adapter Set . This applies in all situations, even if you believe the Joolz Aer2 Car Seat Adapter Set is properly attached to the Joolz Aer2 stroller. The Joolz Aer2 Car Seat Adapter may appear secure but could still be incorrectly locked (a “false lock”).

Refund

Depending on your country of purchase, the refund will be handled in one of two ways: 

Option 1 – Via our refund partner (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Iceland, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom)

- Our refund portal is now live. You can register for your refund here.

- Once you've signed up, you'll receive a free return label by email along with clear instructions for the next steps.

- Once your return has arrived at our refund specialist, you'll get a confirmation email and your refund process will begin. 

Please note: even if you have registered your affected product with us, you still need to register in the new refund portal.

Option 2 – Via your retailer (other countries that are not listed at option 1) 

In these countries, refunds will be handled directly through your place of purchase or local retailer. Please get in touch with them on the next steps.

To ensure the quickest turnaround possible, the portal is available in English first, other languages being made available in the coming days.

Revised Joolz Aer2 Car Seat Adapter Set will become available 

The revised Joolz Aer2 Car Seat Adapter Set is expected to become available end of June. We'll email you as soon as the revised adapter is available for sale.

This recall only affects the Joolz Aer2 Car Seat Adapter Set. The Joolz Aer2 stroller itself is not affected by this recall and may continue to be used safely without the Joolz Aer2 Car Seat Adapter Set.
