Joolz Geo³ vs Joolz Geo⁵: what's new?
So you've heard there's a new Geo in town. Maybe you're a happy Joolz Geo³ owner wondering if you should upgrade. Maybe you're expecting and trying to figure out which one to get. Or maybe you just love reading about stroller specs at midnight. We don't judge. Here's everything you need to know about the differences between the Joolz Geo³ and the new Joolz Geo⁵. No fluff, just the facts!
The quick version
The Joolz Geo⁵ isn't a complete redesign. It's the Joolz Geo³, refined. We took what parents loved and made it better. Smoother ride, improved comfort, smarter details. If the Joolz Geo³ was already great, the Joolz Geo⁵ is that little bit greater.
What's actually different?
Let's get into the specifics.
A smoother ride
The Joolz Geo⁵ has softer back suspension. You'll notice the difference on bumpy pavements, cobblestones, or that one path in the park that's more pothole than path. Your little one stays comfortable, your arms stay relaxed.
The tyres got an upgrade too. We've gone for a gravel-bike tyre profile with a TPE skin. In normal words: they feel like rubber, grip like rubber, but are more durable. Better traction on wet surfaces, grass, gravel, you name it.
And the front tyres? Wider now. More grip, more stability, more confidence when you're steering one-handed because the other hand is holding a coffee. (We see you.)
Redesigned basket
The storage basket has a new mesh design with an integrated cover. Looks sleeker, keeps your stuff protected from rain or curious little hands reaching down from the seat.
Improved canopy
The sun hood now connects better to both the carrycot and the seat. Sounds small, but it means less fiddling, more protection, and a cleaner look overall. It stays where you put it.
New mattress and liner
The Joolz Geo⁵ comes with an upgraded mattress, similar to the one in the Joolz Hub². Softer, more supportive. The carrycot liner is now removable too, which makes cleaning a lot easier. Because babies are adorable, but they're also messy. Very messy.
Same trusted brake
The push-push brake you know from the Joolz Geo³ is still there. One push to lock, one push to release. Simple, reliable, works with any shoe.
What stayed the same?
Plenty. The Joolz Geo⁵ is still:
- A full-size, all-terrain stroller built for active families
- Easily converts from a single to a double for two kids, even three with an optional footboard to ride-along
- Equipped with that massive storage basket you love (15 kg or 60 L capacity)
- Designed to last from newborn to toddler
- Set for all-weather with a ventilating seat/cot and a UPF50+ sun hood for added protection against sun, wind and rain
- Made with the same commitment to quality and sustainability
If you loved the Joolz Geo³, you'll feel right at home with the Joolz Geo⁵.
